My process is spontaneous and experimental. But whatever I do, I make sure to see it through to the end.
Blip Branding
In this project I got to create a brand based off of a place that didn’t really have an identity. I decided to go with an Amtrak train vestibule, and focused on conveying friendliness and reliability. I used the “i” in a logo as a symbol for a person, showcasing the figure easily navigating through the train.
Growing Seasons Rebrand
Here I got the chance to rebrand a small business, and I decided to go with Growing Season, a very cute plant shop. I decided to play with the “G” and the “S”, using them to create a leaf logo.
Multiple Formats Poster
A poster for the Multiple Formats event at Boston University. I decided to go for a more simplistic approach, and played into overlapping planes.
SYNESTHESIA Music Poster
Based off a couple of my favorite artists, I created this poster capturing the exciting nature of this colorful festival. Here I played with scale and hierarchy, as well as harmonizing the colors and typography of the poster.
Play Posters
Through these posters, I was challenged to create a consistent system that would fit each play’s different description length as well as title size. I studied the posters of other plays and decided to go for a more graphic-oriented system. I also focused on hierarchy with the typography, making sure the title and dates pop out to the audience.
