Digital Art Fair
I was tasked to create a collection of kinetic graphics for the Digital Art Fair based in Hong Kong. I mainly focused on bringing a 3-D feel towards the animations as well as incorporated bright, saturated colors to showcase the futuristic and exciting nature of the event.
Multiple Formats
I had the chance to design a wordmark for one of the popular fairs at Boston University. I also got to introduce one of the featured exhibitors, Allison Tanenhaus, and went for a more playful tone, as her art is very psychedelic and bright.
German Train Ticket
For this project, I got to choose a type-based graphic from the People’s Graphic Design Archive, and then animate it. I was attracted to the grid as well as the butterfly, which is why I focused on the balance between organic and more structured movement.
3000 Miles
I’ve always wanted to have a video to document the 4 day train ride I went through May 2023, and thought this was my chance to do so. The capped amount of videos I took and their simple perspectives were definitely a limitation I faced, and I wasn’t able to make it as cinematic as I wanted. The project did give me a chance to play with filters and how to create a dreamy effect though.
